چکیده
We present the first detection of pulsations from a neutron star in submillimeter range. The source is magnetar XTE J1810-197, observed with James Clerk Maxwell Telescope (JCMT) on 2020 February 27, July 9 and 2021 May 15. J1810-197 detected at 353 GHz ($\lambda=0.85\,$mm) three epochs, but not simultaneously-observed band 666 ($\lambda=0.45\,$mm). measure an averaged flux density 6.7$\pm$1.0, 4.0$\pm$0.6, 1.3$\pm$0.3 mJy set 3$\sigma$ upper limits 11.3, 4.7 4.3 mJy, each observing respectively. Combining close-in-time observations Effelsberg 100m IRAM 30m telescopes covering non-contiguously 6 to 225 (5.0 cm$>\lambda>$1.33 mm), we investigate spectral shape frequency range potential turn-up predicted by some pulsar radio emission models. results demonstrate that beamed stars can extend into regime, are inconclusive existence location within covered properties resemble those longer wavelengths, support coherent mechanism for production GHz.

X-ray Bursts from the Transient Magnetar Candidate Xte J1810−197
We have discovered four X-ray bursts, recorded with the Rossi X-ray Timing Explorer Proportional Counter Array between 2003 September and 2004 April, that we show to originate from the transient magnetar candidate XTE J1810−197. The burst morphologies consist of a short spike or multiple spikes lasting ∼1 s each followed by extended tails of emission where the pulsed flux from XTE J1810−197 is ...
متن کاملThe Magnetar Xte J1810–197: Variations in Torque, Radio Flux Density and Pulse Profile Morphology
We report on observations of the radio-emitting anomalous X-ray pulsar XTE J1810–197 during 2006 May– October using the Nançay, Parkes, GBT, and VLA telescopes at a frequency of 1.4 GHz. The torque experienced by the neutron star during this period, as inferred from a measurement of its rotational frequency derivative, decreased by 30%, although not in a steady manner. We have also observed ver...
متن کاملInfrared and X–ray Variability of the Transient Anomalous X-ray Pulsar Xte J1810-197 ⋆
We report on observations aimed at searching for flux variations from the proposed IR counterpart of the Anomalous X–ray Pulsar (AXP) XTE J1810−197. These data, obtained in March 2004 with the adaptive optics camera NAOS-CONICA at the ESO VLT, show that the candidate proposed by Israel et al. (2004) was fainter by ∆H = 0.7 ± 0.2 and ∆Ks = 0.5 ± 0.1 with respect to October 2003, confirming it as...
متن کاملVlba Measurement of the Transverse Velocity of the Magnetar Xte
We have obtained observations of the magnetar XTE J1810–197 with the Very Long Baseline Array at two epochs separated by 106 days, at wavelengths of 6 cm and 3.6 cm. Comparison of the positions yields a proper motion value of 13.5±1.0 mas yr−1 at an equatorial position angle of 209.4±2.4 (east of north). This value is consistent with a lower-significance proper motion value derived from infrare...
متن کاملThe Anatomy of a Magnetar : XMM Monitoring of the
We present the latest results from a multi-epoch timing and spectral study of the Transient Anomalous X-ray Pulsar XTE J1810–197. We have acquired seven observations of this pulsar with the Newton X-ray Multi-mirror Mission (XMM-Newton) over the course of two and a half years, to follow the spectral evolution as the source fades from outburst. The spectrum is arguably best characterized by a tw...
